Job Description: PRN Nutritionist/Dietician

Job Summary: Healing Pathways LLC is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable PRN Nutritionist to join our multidisciplinary team. The PRN Nutritionist will provide nutritional counseling and support to clients, helping them achieve optimal health and wellness. This position involves working collaboratively with therapists, peer support specialists, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into holistic treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans.
- Provide evidence-based nutritional counseling to clients with a variety of health conditions and dietary needs.
- Collaborate with therapists and other team members to integrate nutritional strategies into overall treatment plans.
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed.
- Facilitate nutrition-related workshops and group sessions.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in nutrition and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nutrition, preferably in a mental health or wellness setting.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability: Flexible schedule to provide services on an as-needed basis, including potential evenings and weekends.
- Additional Requirements:
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience in public speaking or conducting group workshops.
