Through my own life experiences, I have learned how to  navigate to overcome life's hardships and obstacles and  find my path  towards  healing.  As a child  and  young adult I had behavioral patterns that were  conditioned trauma responses I did not recognize as merely  survival mechanisms.  I  have always had a passion for the arts and used it as a coping mechanism to process my own pain and hurt.  It was not until I began therapy in my thirties that I recognized  it was okay to change my path in life and rediscover who I wanted to become.  This is where I learned the power of expressive arts and the human connection.This led me from being a college instructor and adjunct professor to entering the field of mental health.    Healing Pathways specializes in integrative medicine, holistic care, and the treatment of trauma. 

Through my own journey, I recognize the importance of integrative medicine and holistic health.  This is why Healing Pathways offers  a holistic approach to the treatment of mental health. I  am a Certified  Integrative Mental  Health Professional  (CIMHP) with a specialization in nutritional and integrative medicine.  I also  specialize in the treatment of trauma  with  specialized focus areas  in survivor of sexual trauma and racial trauma.  I have trained in many different treatment modalities   such as  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,   Expressive Arts Therapy,  and Somatic Therapy.  I believe in an eclectic approach model.  This means not one therapeutic technique fits everyone.  We will work together to find the right approach for you.  Healing Pathways specializes in integrative medicine, holistic care, and the treatment of trauma.
